Jakarta ASN Prohibited from Using Official Vehicles for Eid Homecoming

The Jakarta Provincial Government prohibits all state civil apparatus (ASN) in its environment from using official cars for the purpose of taking Eid homecoming.

This policy was delivered directly by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, who emphasized that this prohibition applies without exception.

"Jakarta officials or apparatus, especially ASN who take Eid homecoming, are prohibited from using official cars. This is strictly not allowed," he expressed, after he led the Operation Lintas Jaya roll calls at the South Plaza of Monas, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/12).

This prohibition was aimed at ensuring the use of Jakarta Government assets following their intended purpose, which is for official duties, not personal interests. Moreover, the maintenance of Jakarta Government official vehicles uses the City Budget (APBD).

In fact, strict sanctions would be imposed on those who violate this prohibition.
